While not a Club entry, Catchlight did have a number of members who submitted their wildlife images into the Inter Regional Wildlife competition between NIPA and our nearby IPF friends.
It was great to hear that 2 of our advanced members were awarded medals for some of their entries, with Pamela Wilson gaining a Bronze Medal and 3rd place overall for her Nut Crackers image, and a Highly Commended for her White Tailed Eagles. Ross McKelvey (Wildlife Photographer) received a Highly Commended for both Greenfinch Squabble and Fox Cubs, and a Commended for Pipit Landing. Congratulations to both Pamela and Ross for representing Catchlight and getting amongst the awards.
We also had entries from Jill Crockett, John Glover, Kenny Gibson and Tony Mulvenna. While none were placed among the awards, their entries helped to make it a close call when the final marks were tallied.
On this occasion IPF came out winners of the competition. Congratulations to the IPF and their contributing members and clubs.
